Manjé-yé de Kréyòl Lalwizyàn. 🫑🫘🦞🧅🦐

I know this is a little different from other pieces of mine. But I was inspired to create this by Breno Loesner’s similar piece.

I would love to make some prints/bags, but I want to know y’all’s thoughts before I do. Would you wear this on a tote? Let me know in the comments.

Do y’all know about the New Orleans Baby Dolls Ladies? The Baby Doll Ladies are a dance group that was founded in 2005. However, Baby Doll marching started in New Orleans’s Black Storyville in 1912. The Baby Dolls would don silky clothes and bonnets to march during parades, which was unheard of at the time. By the 1930s, they became a part of tradition, which can still be seen today. ⚜️
