Cafe Negril on Frenchmen Street is continuing its “Bring Back Bob” campaign — a community-driven effort to restore the iconic Bob Marley mural that watched over the venue for decades. Originally painted in 1990 by New Orleans artist Dwayne Conrad, the massive mural was covered several years ago due to fireproofing and building requirements. Conrad is now back to bring back Bob’s legacy and energy in a new mural. Learn how you can contribute.

Blue Cypress is a multi-generational band from the Monroe, Louisiana region specializing in Blues, Rock and Roll and New Orleans R&B. The band performed a set at the legendary BB Kings club (Memphis) in January 2026 to rave reviews. Now, the band has turned its attention to a set of classic New Orleans songs from luminaries such as Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Snooks Eaglin, The Meters and more. Come and hear the top young musicians in North Louisiana as they pay homage to the music of the great city of New Orleans.

We know you will enjoy this performance by the Blue Cypress Band at The Venue, located on the third floor of the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive promptly.

The Noah Young Band began in New Orleans in 2015 and has steadily carved out a space in both the local and national scenes with its high-energy performances and innovative sound. Drawing from the deep well of New Orleans funk while pushing boldly into new territory, the group fuses earthy grooves with Noah Young’s adventurous compositional voice—resulting in music that is at once deeply familiar and refreshingly forward-thinking. Whether you’re dancing or listening intently, the band’s sound creates a unique duality: grounded yet exploratory, accessible yet cerebral.
