Finished this custom commission yesterday! I think I may take some deposits on future Preservation Hall sculptures, but this isn't going to be in the regular repertoire. It looks simply, but it was anything but! Lots of detail work, I'm particularly happy with the trombone case (whittled from scratch) and the terra cotta tiles on the roof.

I jokingly referred to this as "Whopper Jr." because it was a smaller version of a much larger piece I made. Really, it should be called the "McRib" because it's not going to be around long. These are all made in small batches and AVAILABLE NOW until it's gone. Hello! I just delivered and installed this "Free Little Library" uptown. It was a lot of fun to make - be sure to zoom in on the details!
