The Postcards of POSTCARDS. These Postcard art works, little bits of beauty to brighten the day, are create by audience members and distributed to organizations providing services such as shelters that serve women and children and other organizations that work with women who have been trafficked including
www.edenhousenola.org/, www.hagarshousenola.org/, www.ohlinc.org/, https://nofjc.org/ and https://www.covenanthousenola.org/.

These postcards are ways for people to communicate words of encouragement to those who receive services from shelters that serve women and children and other organizations that work with women who have been trafficked. The post cards created at POSTCARDS performances AND art-making events are then distributed to these partner organizations so that they can decide whether to display the cards in their facilities or distribute them directly to individuals that may be in particularly difficult circumstances—words of kindness and encouragement for people working through difficult places in their lives, a way to provide additional points of connection and offer humanity to those society has dehumanized. This idea is inspired by Amnesty International’s post card campaign.
