Known for his soaring, energetic sound, Walker has performed with Sturgill Simpson on Saturday Night Live, the GRAMMY Awards, and The Tonight Show, and has shared the stage with George Porter Jr., Zigaboo Modeliste, Bernard Purdie, Rickie Lee Jones, and Marcia Ball. With five albums as a bandleader, Walker is a leading voice in New Orleans contemporary jazz. 🎷✨

His blues-inflected original songs explore the full range of the human experience with honesty, humor, and heart.

Join us for the Happy Hour Concert Series featuring Shea Siraj, a New Orleans–born pianist, composer, producer, and educator whose music blends jazz, gospel, blues, hip-hop, and global influences.

A NOCCA alum who studied under Ellis Marsalis and Jason Marsalis, Shea brings a deeply rooted New Orleans perspective to a contemporary sound. He has performed and collaborated with artists including Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, Donald Harrison, Weedie Braimah & the Hands of Time, and Fatoumata Diawara.

ason Marsalis is the youngest son of piano patriarch and Jazz luminary Ellis Marsalis Jr. Upon the presentation of their NEA Jazz Masters Award in 2011, The Marsalis' were declared "America's First Family of Jazz". In addition to his renown as a drummer, Jason is also a respected vibraphonist whose 2018 release "Melody Reimagined '' with his 21st Century Trad Band rose swiftly to the top of the Billboard Jazz chart. With a fire in his heart and a passion for the music, his will to swing has never been more resolute. The maturity and the command Jason possesses over his music is clearly evident to those who have heard and seen him. Tonight, Jason presents a musical tribute to Brian Wilson & the Beach Boys.
