We are a locally owned, locally loved bead s

tore with an ahhhmazing inventory of beads and beading supplies. We specialize in jewelry repair, custom orders, wedding jewelry designs and classes. Whether you have a necklace that simply needs a new clasp, or your special pearls need to be re-knotted, we can take care of it. (Sometimes while you wait)

We do custom work daily, and specialize in making a piece JUST for you. Bring in your evening dress, reunion outfit, a favorite new top, or a Mardi Gras ball dress, we can create a piece for you. Making your own jewelry is easier than you think. We have a stringing room for you to make your own jewelry anytime. If you're a beginner just let us know and we will walk you through the easy process to making your own earrings, necklaces or bracelets. We have a huge variety of group classes available, as well as private classes if you prefer a one on one experience. Check our page or website for current class offerings.

HIRING (again, and again): every time I think we are done, we aren’t! We are blessed with very low turnover, but we still need more help than we have, to keep up with this business! Busy little bead shop is hiring part time. Hiring wonderful people is our favorite thing to do, so if this is your kind of place and we are your kind of people, reach out! We are currently accepting emails and inquiries. Please note: while we wish we sat around and made jewelry all day, (yes please!) this job is a very busy, multidimensional, multi tasking, detail oriented position. We have the most beautiful customers. Quay and Z visited us from Shreveport last week. We were understaffed and SO busy that day, and I was stressed! These two walked in like literal SUNSHINE. Full of smiles, JOY and loud wonderful excitement. Their attitude was SO refreshing and so needed during a busy day. Once they picked up their jewelry, I ran outside to stop and personally thank them for changing MY funky attitude. They then filled me with the most complimentary, kindest words about their store experience. Another reminder that you just have no idea how much you’re going to affect someone’s day. Thank you so much for including us in your girls weekend, Quay and Z. Anyone who interacted with you and your JOY that weekend was lucky! (They made beautiful charm bar creations to remember their trip!)!
