Gallery Orange On the higher 600-900 blocks of famous Royal Street, the bohemian leading-edge boutique art galleries are springing up as a strong team. Why “Orange”?

Contemporary art gallery in the historic French Quarter featuring original artwork from 30+ local, regional and national artists.

📍819 Royal Street, French Quarter The vibrancy of this color is a nod to our British-Dutch ownership (as in, the Royal House of Orange). It also illustrates the Dutch principles on which we have based the mission of our gallery: unique, distinctive artwork for fair market values. Our roster includes matured, widely-collected artists, as well as artists whose careers are reaching the first of many peaks. Large turnover on available paintings not only prove the popularity of our artists and their work, they also keep our walls fresh, consistently opening space to more beautiful and exciting pieces of art. Our space is constantly being transformed. Our goal is to source honest, exclusive and original works from artists that are extremely driven, energetic, and in the height of their busy art career. Artists and one-off works with a strong positive vibe and unique flavor –that is Orange!!

Why Gallery Orange? 🍊 The name is a nod to the gallery’s British-Dutch roots—but it also felt like the perfect fit for a gallery built around art with personality. Orange is bold, warm, energetic, and impossible to ignore. Pretty fitting for a space that has spent years bringing vibrant contemporary original art to Royal Street.

Come visit us, sit on our white couch, and discover your next favorite artist at Gallery Orange!

Please join us in welcoming New Orleans painter Kristy Oustalet to Gallery Orange 🍊 Works from Kristy’s Tablescapes collection will be featured in our upcoming show, AT THE TABLE, and we’re excited to share more of her work with you.

A rising local artist, Kristy uses bold color and expressive brushwork to capture the spirit of le bon temps ⚜️ that unmistakable New Orleans feeling of good food, good company, and lingering a little longer. Her Tablescapes paintings have that same sense of energy and celebration that makes you want to pull up a chair.

And for collectors who love discovering artists early, Kristy is one to watch. Her work is still wonderfully accessible, making this a particularly exciting time to get to know her and add one of her paintings to your collection.

As Kristy puts it:

“The Tablescapes collection is really about that feeling: gathering around a table, lingering a little longer, and those nights you don't want to end. There's a little bit of New Orleans in that, the idea that a meal is rarely just about the food.”

Come see Kristy’s and her works in person and welcome her to the gallery
