Founded and Directed by Bianca San Martin. B has been dancing salsa since 2003, and learned from instructors- Troy Anthony and Jorjet Alcocer. Right before Hurricane Katrina, B was recruited to be a member of the second generation "Salsa Ninos" teen performance dance group of Latin Motions Dance Company. Unfortunately due to the aftermath of the storm, Troy and Jorjet had to move themselves and th
e company to Houston, TX. B's mother, Eva Hurst, was always involved in the community and dance scene. She connected B with Masaru "Chino" Fukuda. Chino and Bianca were amongst the first instructors to begin teaching classes after the storm. They performed at several local events and festivals, traveled within the state to teach and perform, and worked to keep the salsa scene alive after the tragedy of the Hurricane. After a year of dancing together, Chino had graduated, and moved to Houston, TX. Since then, B has taught latin dance lessons throughout the city on her own. When she was 17 years old, she taught a youth group summer camp at the YMCA. B moved on to teach "Salsaerobics" at Nicholls State for 4 Semesters. B transferred and graduated from UNO, where she also taught "Salsaerobics." In the beginning of 2013, B began teaching a weekly class at the same studio she started at in 2006. Ballet Classique is a beautiful ballet studio located in Mid-City, New Orleans.
