Visiting Artist Announcement:

Every workshop here in our studio is an OPPORTUNITY to level up your flame game!

October 2nd - 4th, 2026 > mark your calendars!

We're welcoming back internationally recognized glass artist, Tatyana Boyarinova back to New Orleans for a 3 day immersive experience exploring sculpted roses, rose murrini, and butterfly murrini. Tatyana has taught throughout Venice, Thailand, Holland, and beyond, bringing that special level of expertise that we are always proud to bring to the Gulf South.

Over these 3 days, students will learn how to create dimensional floral sculpture, build detailed rose imagery within cane, and construct striking butterfly murrini designs while strengthening heat control, color application, and construction techniques along the way. Tatyana's artist reception on Saturday, October 3rd is also taking place during Art for Art's Sake, so there's double the reason to come by for art, dranks, music, and an engaging open studio!

And then there were TWO! Time is running out to get your seat in Beau Barrett’s November workshop here in our New Orleans studio!

This intermediate to advanced workshop is designed for artists with prior experience working in borosilicate glass who are ready to expand their technical control and creative range through the use of tubing and blown forms.

Huge thanks to the OG himself, Kevin O’Grady, for an incredible workshop this weekend at Pollack Glass Studio. Kevin is truly one of the most creative, innovative, and talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, and having him share his knowledge, techniques, and energy with our community was something really special.

A huge thank you also goes out to all of the students who traveled from near and far to be part of this glass retreat in New Orleans. The talent, enthusiasm, and sense of community that filled the studio all weekend made this experience unforgettable. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.

The Bird Show, curated by Carol Leake, is entering its final weekend, and we’re celebrating with a Closing Reception this Saturday, May 23, from 5–8 PM.
