Welcoming Christina to the roster of amazing instructors for the season of The Neutral Ground Academy! Have you ever wanted to learn the sweet skills of a great barista?

Christina is a New Orleans coffee and hospitality professional with 11 years of experience working behind the bar and a particular interest in the craft, systems, and human connection that make a great café work. Her experience spans specialty coffee, customer service, barista training, café operations, and the practical skills required to create consistent, high-quality drinks in a fast-paced environment.

She approaches coffee as both a technical craft and an act of hospitality. Espresso preparation, milk texture, latte art, workflow, and customer interaction are individual skills, but together they create the experience a guest remembers. As an instructor, Christina aims to make those skills approachable by combining demonstration with hands-on practice and explaining not only how a technique works, but why.

Through Barista Basics and Latte Art, she hopes to give young people an accessible introduction to coffee as a craft, a workplace, and a potential entry point into the hospitality industry.
