I’m happy to report back that my first Oddities & Curiosities exposition was a success! Thank you Boston! I couldn’t have done it without the help of my production assistant, Ry. Thank you Ry! We met so many amazing attendees, makers, and curators. There’s always room for growth, but this event exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to do it all again in New Orleans and Austin next month.
I am especially excited for the New Orleans dates because one of my favorite west coast artist, , will be flying in to share her work with the gulf south. I’ll share our booth placements when they’re announced so you’ll know where to find us.
Hope to see you there ⚰️

One day of Boston Oddities & Curiosities down, one day to go. Y’all really came out! I’m overflowing with gratitude for everyone who stopped by for a chat, adopted some of my art, or even just took a business card. Excited for day 2 tomorrow. Let’s go!
Come on by table T173 - we’ve got the goods ✨

HUGE shout out to my best friend who drove three hours to see me and brought my helper and I delicious pastries from ❤️ You fueled our day!

P.S Does anyone want to pick my assistant and I up from MSY on Monday around 1pm? Free ceramics are in your future if so!

I’ve been hard at work making odd little pieces for Oddities & Curiosities in Boston, New Orleans, and Austin this year. Thankfully most of my work packs down small, because I’ll be flying in for the Boston Dates at the beginning of May. Lately I’ve been hyper fixating on making doll parts that I’ve slip cast from Kelly doll molds made in 1984. I started out doing mostly heads and torsos till I discovered the little legs a few days ago! These are going to look so cute and creepy all together on charm chains, as well as individual pendants. I like to snap a quick pic of my daily harvest in the studio at The London Clayworks. I hope you enjoy swiping through these slides as much as I enjoy making the little pieces. Stay tuned for the finished product as I glaze and assemble these little guys. If you’re a fellow ceramicist, say a little prayer for me as I begin glazing the first 182 of these charms today.
Coming soon to Oddities & Curiosities dates near you!
Boston, MA - May 2nd & 3rd
New Orleans, LA - June 20th & 21st
Austin, TX- June 27th & 28th

‘Ain’t No Right Way To Feel’
We got caught in our first downpour of the season on our walk home last night. This abandoned long stem rose came home with us and found a new home in my inverted coffin vase.

My life lately 🏺
Over the last few weeks I’ve had the incredible opportunity of leading a ceramics project with the rising artists of Art Camp 504. We’re two weeks into the project, with one more week to go! We’ve sculpted, we’ve glazed, and next week we will be assembling our Troll Leaf ornaments.
I have family in Norway who would send my brother and I books about trolls when we were little, and some of the stories really stuck with me. One story in particular about a 12 headed troll who owned a golden forest had me in its grasp. In this forest the trunks of the trees were copper, the twigs silver, and the leaves were the purest gold. If anyone came and tried to remove as much as a single leaf, the troll would hear the tinkling of the leaves and if he didn’t kill you outright he’d turn you into a creature to wander the twilight realm of the golden forest FOREVER. This project is inspired by that story! Right now we’re in the enchanted forest of Creature Academy at Art Camp 504 so it’s a perfect fit!
The leaves we are making are not of silver and gold, but are of immense value do to the exceptional detail work done on each bead, charm, and leaf impression. Each artist is creating two ornaments, one for display in the enchanted forest house float at the Tigermen Den, and one to take home. These pieces have already turned out to be so special, I can’t wait to see them all put together and hanging.

I of course wouldn’t be able to pull this off without the support of my amazing co teachers at ❤️ If you have kids in your life, I highly recommend checking out Art Camp 504 for their spring break, summer, and afterschool programing. We’re making great things happen!

And that’s a wrap on Mardi Gras 2026! Yesterday was so full of magic and wonder. I didn’t get pictures everyone, but I was running around “charming” my friends. I came prepared with my handmade charms, pliers and pendant cord to adorn those I came across.
If I charmed you and didn’t get a picture, I’d love to see you with your charm! Now to get plotting and planning for next year. I hope everyone had a happy Mardi Gras!

Last day of Tinsel Town at The Tigermen Den! Always so bitter sweet, but we will be back at it for Halloween. Come through today till 7pm. Is your outfit ready for the big day? Costumes, outerwear, slips, accessories, feathers, and more!
Yesterday I came here wearing the coolest pants I own, and left with even cooler ones from the extremely talented Real Rust. Absolutely over the moon, you know how hard pants can be!
I’ve got two great charm necklaces, and a few charms kicking around to build your own. See you here!

In preparation for working on a clay project with some incredible young artists, I asked my parents if they could send pictures of my early clay work.
Growing up in a production ceramic studio, I’ve been working with clay practically since birth. I didn’t date these pieces when I made them but we estimate I was 5-7 when I created this body of work. As you can see, my themes of flora and influences from the natural world have always been prominent in my work.
Pop culture references that made their way into my early work are present in the lidded dish from the first a second slide. After watching the 1995 Jumanji I quote taken with the large carnivorous flowers. I applied my inspiration from the carnivorous flower, and combined my admiration for the Franciscan Desert Rose Collection China set used by my family to create a pattern of my own.
The blue pot featuring hieroglyphics draws inspiration from one of my first career goals - becoming an Egyptologist. That was of course till I saw the 1999 smash hit classic The Mummy and was super freaked out when the scarab beetles went under that guy’s skin and ate his insides.
I love being able to look back at my old work. I hope you’ve enjoyed it too!
