Throwback New Orleans Throwback was the hottest retro dance party in New Orleans, every Friday night at Republic from 2007 to 2016. Plus, solve a Rubik’s cube for a free drink!

Throwback is a club night for the live music crowd. Like an indie house party, Throwback features 80s 90s and indie music, regular performances by local indie bands, retro decor, original Nintendo games and retro movies on the big screen, a free arcade with 40 classic games, really cheap drinks, and a hanging-with-the-friends atmosphere. Dress to be retro or dress to be you. Every Friday at Republic New Orleans | 18 for girls, 20 for guys | 10pm | $5 ($10 after midnight)

One of New Orleans’ best DJs, D G, will take us through time, spinning everything from retro jams to current hits! You “Can’t Touch This”. I mean, did you see “The Sign”? It clearly says “No Scrubs”. “If you wanna be my lover”, then be sure that “Baby Got Back”, cuz “I want it that way”. So, come have the “Time of your life” at the ‘I love the 90s Throwback” tonight at Republic. DJ G will spin all the classic jams, so you know it’s “Nothing but a G thing”.
