Culture doesn’t exist without the people who carry it forward.

Tremé’s rich traditions have been sustained by generations of Black artists and culture bearers but too often, they are left out of the very growth happening around them.

Friends of Tremé Culture is working to change that.

Through initiatives like our Culture Bearers Fund, we invest directly in the people who make Tremé what it is, ensuring they are supported, resourced, and able to remain rooted in their community.

GiveNOLA Day is almost here. Join us in making a meaningful impact.

Every gift helps sustain living culture.

Black history is every day in the Tremé, one of the oldest African American neighborhoods in the country.

From the legacy of the music, culture, and community that continue to shape New Orleans, Tremé stands as a living testament to Black resilience, creativity, and excellence.

As Black History Month comes to a close, our commitment to honoring and celebrating this history continues.

Treme Fest proudly celebrates the history, the people, and the enduring legacy of Tremé today and always.

Tremé is not just a neighborhood. It’s a heartbeat.

From the brass bands that echo down the streets to the front porches that shaped the sound of New Orleans, Tremé is where culture lives out loud.

It’s second lines. It’s Sunday traditions. It’s generations of music, resilience, and joy.

Treme Fest is our way of honoring the music, the history, and the people who keep it alive.

Drop a ❤️ if Tremé means something to you.
