Blood drinking Gang member of Gallatin
In the 1800's The French Market was a thriving neighborhood of debauchery, at the time called Gallatin Street. Take look back at the violent gang The Yellow Henry Gang, active in the 1870's & 1880's. Two of their members really shine. William Knuckly confessed that him and his accociate Jack Lyons killed the owner of a bar at his door and drank his blood till they were full. Jack Lyons will proceed be arrested for a separate robbery,escape, be captured, to eventually be pardoned. In 1892, he will get in a fight on Gallatin and when a patrol man John Hurely steps in to break it up, Jack will shoot him directly in the heart. After being convicted, he will get life in prision to then be pardoned again in 1908.

Sounds like someone needs to move back to Ohio. Lol they didn't even spell Decatur correctly. Maybe do some research before you move here this neighborhood has literally never been good throughout New Orleans entire history.

Saffron, our loving Decatur street opossum, was taken my the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Billy his cargiver(dad) saved Saffron when his mother was hit by a car. When Billy found him he hadn't even opened his eyes yet. He truly would not have survived without Billy and would never have been able to live out in the wild. THIS IS TRUELY HEARTBREAKING! Billy needs our help to get Saffron home.
