Members of the Fair Grounds leadership team took a break from the office last week to celebrate Museum Month in New Orleans! The day included a fascinating visit to the The National WWII Museum followed by a tour of The Sazerac House.

At the Women in Business event in Mississippi, VP & General Manager Cathy Hooper Beeding was honored to accept a $2,000 donation from South Mississippi Living magazine for the Karen Sock Memorial Scholarship, supporting women in gaming.

Established by LuAnn Pappas, Angi Truebner and Cathy Hooper Beeding, the scholarship continues Karen’s legacy by helping the next generation of women in gaming succeed.

Giving back starts with our team!

Fair Grounds team members recently came together for a clothing drive benefiting the New Orleans Mission. Team members from Fair Grounds Racing, Slots and OTBs all pitched in to collect donations.

The items will help stock the New Orleans Mission’s retail shop, where clients can find clothing and household essentials they need.

We’re proud to see our Fair Grounds family making a difference in the community we call home! 🏇💙

Across the OTB network, our players were invited to vote for their favorite display of this months special prize, the portable air conditioner! with over 130 votes cast across all 13 locations, we have our winners!
