🎬✨ BLK INK Short Film Premiere ✨🎬

Join us Saturday, June 20 from 1-3 PM at the City Park Pavilion of the Two Sisters (during the BLK INK Book Festival) for an afternoon celebrating Black storytelling, film, and creativity.

Featuring five short films including the premiere of The Coloring Test by filmmaker Jonathan Isaac Jackson . Jonathan is a New Orleans-based writer, director, and cinematographer. His debut feature documentary, Big Chief, Black Hawk, earned nominations from the American Black Film Festival and Black Reel Awards and was later acquired by American Documentary and World Channel.

The Coloring Test explores the psychological and cultural pressures of assimilation. The film centers on a Black man who sits alone in a white room and gradually erases parts of himself—his memories, identity, and even his connection to Blackness—in an attempt to gain acceptance into an exclusive society.
