This installation won the 2015 BizBash Event Style Award for “Best Use of Video at an Event”. For an event that featured a preview of plans for a proposed world-class Marine Research institute, Megavision Arts was tasked by producer Ben Bourgeois with designing a multimedia immersive experience projection-mapped onto 32 screens.
The experience, which was staged in an abandoned terminal at the Port of LA, featured mood-setting undersea scenery culminating in a 3-minute narrated piece that took the audience on a journey from the history of LA Harbor to the future of AltaSea.
With expert technical support from Brite Ideas, the content was conceived, designed and produced with a four-week lead time.

On June 16, 2012 Megavision Arts was tasked with designing, creating and projecting animations onto a 60' by 40' wall that became the focal point of a party to celebrate the grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Nic's Beverly Hills restaurant. The design scheme was intended to evoke the look and feel of glamorous, mid-century pool parties, as well as the restaurant's new design and menu. To cover the wall with bright, saturated imagery, we used quad-stacked, converged 15K LCD projectors.

The coolest thing about this quick turnaround project was that we got to make some event-specific animations and then project them onto the old Disney Animation Building, the original building that once housed Walt Disney and his team of artists and animators. From 1940 until the late 1980s some of the world's most-loved animated feature films were made in this historic building.
