Festively Gay Things To Do Daily Spotlight: For all your Pokemon fans out there have I got an event for you Pokédrag is a PokéParty where Drag Trainers catch Pokemon (the audience) and compete in Lipsync battles, PokéFashion, and PokéKnowledge! PokéDrag is a Pokémon themed party at the Allways Lounge & Cabaret on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Come dressed as your favorite Pokémon and get "caught" by one of our PokéDrag Trainers! Pokemon will compete in three categories: A Lipsync Battle Royale, PokéFashion, and PokéKnowledge!

The winning Pokémon and their trainers will receive Pokémon themed prize packages!

Festively Gay Things To Fo Daily Spotlight: Get ready for a spooky time at Halloween Party For G**s Who Don't Want To Stay Out Late hosted at The Rabbit Hole on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. They are kicking off the Halloween celebrations at 6:00pm so you can be home, hydrated, and in bed by 11 pm. Music by Warm Advice and Go-Go Dancing by Phoenix Phantasma and Giselle Janae. Come dressed as your favorite professional gay! Whether you’re channeling Anderson Cooper, Chappell Roan, or any iconic q***r boss, come dressed to impress!
Costumes, cocktails, dancing, and more—all while the night is still young. Doors open at 6, and done by 10.

Festively Gay Things To Fo Daily Spotlight: Get your scare on at the Q***r Northshore’s Annual Halloween Party, SLAY!, which is now a Dance Party featuring your favorite Queens and a “DRESSED TO KILL” Costume Contest!

The event takes place downstairs at McClain’s Pizzeria on Saturday, October 26, 2024 starting at 8 pm. Enjoy a night of dancing, drag, and 100% pure fabulousness, featuring the chilling beats of DJ Space Babe, and Northshore Queens, Tuffy Love, Lana O’Day, and MyaRay serving up drag royalty realness throughout the night.

The “Dressed to Kill” Costume Contest will be judged by our 3 Queens. This event is all about celebrating love, inclusivity, and community, so bring your friends and come dressed to impress.

SLAY! is more than just another party—it's an opportunity to support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. All admission proceeds from the event will go toward Q***r Northshore, promoting LGBTQ+ visibility, community, and acceptance in Louisiana’s Northshore Region. Tickets: $10

Festively Gay Things To Fo Daily Spotlight: New Orleans' Official Halloween Parade. FREE EVENT! Starts in the Marigny, rolls through the French Quarter and ends in the Warehouse District on Saturday, October 19, 2024 starting at 6 pm. The parade includes Halloween themed floats with over 600 riders tossing local goodies, 40+ marching groups and costume fun. Then after the parade, join them at Generations Hall for the Krewe of Boo's Official Parade After-Party, the Monster Mash.

Festively Gay Things To Do Daily Spotlight: Welcome to Camp HNO, where the spirit of summer thrives in the heart of Halloween! Join us for a weekend of thrilling adventures and chilling entertainment, in support of Project Lazarus, for the 41st year of Halloween New Orleans. Here is a list of the weekend events:

⛺️ FRIDAY NIGHT | LAZARUS BALL
October 18, 2024 | 7pm-10pm
Gallier Hall | 545 St Charles Ave

Arrive at Camp HNO and check in for a weekend of enchantment at the Lazarus Ball. Indulge in tempting campfire treats, enjoy bewitching campfire tales, and peruse our silent auction filled with treasures from the haunted woods and beyond. At this gala, black tie is optional but camp spirit is required.

🌲 SATURDAY NIGHT | THE MAIN EVENT

Gather 'round for the Main Event, our legendary camp-wide celebration! Dance beneath the stars to the beats of our CPR-certified DJs and prepare for thrilling performances from surprise guests lurking in the shadows.

The adventure will culminate in a jubilant Tea Dance to celebrate the magic of friendship. Beginning on the dock at Woldenberg Park, we’ll embark for a cruise on the Steamboat Natchez. As the sun sets, we’ll embark on foot for our Second Line Parade – a nature walk through the French Quarter accompanied by a brass band – before bidding farewell to friends old and new.

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Project Lazarus. Founded in 1985, Project Lazarus is the oldest and largest agency providing transitional housing and support services to people who are living with HIV/AIDS and experiencing homelessness. Their commitment is to house, heal, empower, and support members of our community so that they can live in the positive.

Don't dare to miss this spellbinding weekend of campfire tales, midnight adventures, and enchanted discoveries. Festively Gay Things To Do Daily Spotlight: The Arts District New Orleans presents the first Saturday Art Walk which takes place on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The galleries and museums of the Arts District are open all day, with opening receptions from 6-9 pm. The First Saturday Art Walk takes place in the #1 destination for art in New Orleans, with 17 member galleries and museums all within a short walking distance. Join them for libations and world-class exhibitions by local, national, and international artists. One special event happening this Saturday is the Joan of Arc Project, who produces the annual Joan of Arc Parade, also produces the JOAN OF ART contest, held each summer in anticipation of a gallery opening and monthlong display of the selected pieces celebrating Joan of Arc. Artwork from this contest is used for Joan of Arc parade medallions, prayer cards, as well as for the promotional poster for the annual SALON DE JEANNE D'ARC, held each September.
Selected artwork will be on display and for sale at Ariodante Contemporary Art and Craft Gallery for the month of September 2024, with a special reception and gallery opening September 7, which is when the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be selected and announced.

Festively Gay Things To Do Daily Spotlight: Another Southern Decadence tradition happens on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2 pm and it is not to be missed. The Southern Decadence Parade is the highlight of the weekend and has over 52 groups and thousands of individuals participating. The theme of the parade is Birds of A Feather and the colors are pink for flamingo, gold for macaw and blue for peacock. So come out and enjoy the festivities which kick off at the Golden Lantern. The route is as follows: Start on Royal and Barracks. Down Royal. Right on St. Louis. Down St Louis. Right on Burgundy. Down Burgundy. Right on St Ann. Down St Ann. Left on Bourbon. Down Bourbon. Disband on Dumaine.
Do not let the parade pass you by especially one this colorful and fabulous.
