SO LIT: Slam of Shorts So Lit: Slam of Shorts is a space made by and for BIPOC creatives and supportive allies to share experiential creative writing.

We use prose, stand-up, song, sketch, comics, puppetry, poetry and so much more to tell our stories.

This Crap Is Scary calls upon BIPOC voices of four femme writers to share their experience-based creative writing dealing with the theme of fear. Whether one character wants another character to fear them because they are identified as the wrong gender or the wrong color or the wrong age, there is a way to come out on the other side with self intact and even a sense of humor.
