This one may be a bit controversial given it's subject matter. But it is history and we need to not forget or bury the past. Digital painting "Bombers Moon" is of a B-29 raid on Japan with resultant fire storm. Many more Japanese were killed in the conventional bombings of cities than the Atom Bombs. Given the vast amount of wooden structures in Japanese cities these raids caused massive fire storms even worse than those of Europe like Dresden and Hamburg.

This is a half sheet watercolor (15" x 30") that was a commission from a Frame House owner in Pensacola. Can't remember the name. It is of a F 105 "Thud" Wild Weasel over Vietnam. Wild Weasels had the unenviable job of going in ahead of operations and take out any anti aircraft sites before the bombers came in. I got lucky and found a 21/4 slide I had made of it for a portfolio. I have had a rather bad image of just a portion of the painting, this is much higher detail and quality. Took a bit of cleaning up dust etc. but scanned in pretty nice. It was done in 1990.

On to College. PJC 1972 Yearbook. My cartoons I did for the PJC campus paper. I was not a journalism student but the editor asked me to do some "Editorial" cartoons so I did. In thanks they gave me this two page center spread in the yearbook.

My first oil painting. Created in '63 or '62. I know I was about 11 or 12 and going to St. John's Catholic School in Pensacola Florida. My sixth grade teacher put me on the road to being an artist when I did a crayon picture of a tyrannosaurus for a class art project. Sister Edele was on the phone to my mother that evening talking her into putting me into private art lessons.

Thought I would make a page with just my work from over the years. I'll add to it regularly with images starting from my oldest pieces and build from there, so there is sort of a timeline. No politics, no scuttlebutt just my art. Hope you enjoy it.
