Hey y'all! A few people were curious about prices so I whipped up a little list for ya. This doesn't quite represent our entire menu but it covers the basics. I'll make a detailed price list later today and get it posted. Some of these prices have been lowered. My family is moving to a much smaller abode and the less stuff I have, the better๐ Priced to move and made to groove. ๐๐โ๐ผ๐๐โฎ๐๐โญ๏ธ
FAQ:
*How do you ship and how much is it?
I ship every hoop in a hand painted box. Your hoop baby is wrapped in bubble wrap as well for extra protection. I coil down your hoop and secure it with soft grip tape. I rarely coil and connect as this puts stress on connector and I have no way of knowing what kind of conditions your package experiences during its journey to you. I'd rather be safe than sorry. You also receive a small bag of tape and tubing samples, sand paper(if requested) and a hand written note with some info about hoop care, reshaping and coiling instructions. And yes, I name every hoop I make. Sometimes I'll creep your profile to see what you're into so I know the name will be special. ๐ I ship priority mail with $50 insurance and tracking. Its usually $8-$10 here in the states. *Rates are subject to change based on location. This means a hoop going to Georgia may cost $7.75, a hoop going to California may be $10. Number of hoops, postal zones and weight/dimensions can also increase shipping rates. I check your zone before shipping. Zones 1 through 4 are charged $8, anything past zone 4 is $10. First class international is usually how I ship out of the country. Depending on the mood of the postal peeps, an international package may take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to arrive. Sometimes they get held up in customs and that's a big pain in the hoop. Keep calm, it annoys me too but at least you know it's getting closer ๐
*What kind of connection will my hoop have?
I use poly inserts for all my hoops. You may upgrade to polycarbonate for a small fee. ($1.50) I keep them on hand for special requests and rebellious tubing, lol. ๐. PE hoops get a grey barbed connector or a PE insert. All hoops come standard with rivet and push button connection. Hoops under 20" will be riveted shut unless requested otherwise. Friction fit is also available. If this your preference , I will use the tightest insert I can find to ensure that your hoop won't pop open during a palm spin and whack you in the face.
*How long will it take to receive my hoop?
Build time varies depending on my queue, hoop specs and hoopmaking vibes ๐ J/K! I'm gonna be honest, I'm in the middle of moving so that may delay my productivity. Right now build time is 1-2 weeks If I've got what you want. If I need to special order tape or tubing, it will take a little longer.
*Why are you so hard to get ahold of?!
This is not the norm for me, I usually answer messages within 24 hours. The phone I'm currently using is too old for the fb/messenger app๐ I am genuinely sorry for the lack of communication. I wasn't prepared for this at all. Like I said, we are in the middle of a move that wasn't supposed to happen until December. We have no wifi, no cable, 2 wild and crazy children and 1 iPad or share between 4 of us. I promise you, I am not ignoring you, I'm just waiting for my turn, lol. I did get my new iPhone in the mail today but I cant set it up without wifi, I'm trying everything I can though so hopefully I'll get it fired up.
*Is protective tape extra?
No, I include protective tape in the price of all taped hoops. It would be a shame to send you a beautifully taped hoop and have it get torn up in the first 5 minutes. Although protective tape does offer some extra security, it is still just tape. It's up to you to take care of your taped hoop and avoid concrete and gravel. Carpet and grass are the best options. Grip tape is always free and highly recommended for deco and reflective taped hoops because those suckers are slippery! Naked hoops can be sent to you bare, sanded, spiraled with grip tape or adorned with a rim job ๐ If you'd rather sand it yourself just let me know and I'll include a few pieces of sandpaper.
*How do I pay?
โฆ All ll transactions go through PayPal at the moment. You are not required to have a PayPal account though. I send an invoice to your email account and all you need is a debit/credit card. This way buyer and seller are both protected in case something happens once your hoop leaves my care. Our etsy is really close to being finished and I'm so excited to show you some of the stuff I've been conjuring up! It's been a long, stressful, bombs dropping left and right kinda summer and that has stalled my process. Please bear with me, friends. I've worked hard on this and I hope my dedication to creating beautiful, well crafted hoops for my lovely hoop brothers and sisters shines through.
