8th Alley

8th Alley 8th Alley is a Frederick, Maryland based organization that presents social dancing events with live The organization’s persona is a debonair tuxedoed alley cat.

Participants in 8th Alley events are afforded the opportunity for fun, energetic and wholesome entertainment often in a rural, rustic setting with a nostalgic, down-home flavor. In its first year, 8th Alley presented three barn dances at the Gaver Tree Farm in Mount Airy. Eventually, 8th Alley hopes to partner with local non-profits using its events to help those entities raise money for their causes.

Visited Cafe 611 last night! First Thursday of the month - live music for the ballroom dancers. The Star Spangled Big Band provided the music. Cafe 611 provided the hospitality. The Cat had a good time. Thanks.
