We have been in touch with several families and are continuing to help where we can. We’ve already been able to deliver furniture to some families through The Bid Lodge, and we know everyone is at a different stage right now. Some are ready for furniture, while others just aren’t quite ready yet.

Right now, we have three couches available. One has a pull-out bed is brownish in color and two have a floral print. They may not be everyone’s preferred style, but couch covers are always an option!

We also have more couches coming, so we will continue helping as they become available.

If you or a family you know is in need of a couch and ready to receive one now, please comment below or send us a private message. We will do our best to help as many families as we can.

If you or someone you know has been directly affected by the flooding and is in need of furniture, please comment directly on this post or send us a private message.

The Bid Lodge currently has some furniture available and we are potentially picking up more, including couches, beds, dressers, tables and other household furniture. We are also able to help with delivery, so please include your address and what items you are in need of when you message us.

Crooksville Volunteers Need Extra Hands Tomorrow!

The Crooksville volunteers have received so many generous donations, and now they could really use some extra hands to help get everything sorted, organized, and ready to go where it is needed.

If you’ve been wondering how you can help but maybe don’t have items to donate, donating your time is just as valuable! Come lend a hand sorting through donations, organizing supplies, and helping our community continue to get these items to those affected.

Even if you can only help for an hour or two, every extra set of hands makes a difference.

We are heading out for the day, but donations are still welcome!

If you stop by, you can leave any donated items on the picnic table by the door, and we will get them inside promptly.

We will continue to post updates over the next few days and weeks letting everyone know when we are here and available for drop-offs.

We truly appreciate every single person who has taken the time to donate and help those in need. Seeing our community come together has been incredible.

We are at The Bid Lodge right now accepting donations for those affected by the flooding!

When you pull into the driveway, go LEFT toward the building. We are located at:

2675 Old Somerset Rd.

ITEMS CURRENTLY NEEDED:
• Brooms & mops
• Cleaning supplies
• Toiletries/personal care items
• Towels & washcloths
• Depends/adult protective underwear Men’s & Women’s, sizes Large & XL
• Any other needed household supplies
-Animal Food and supplies and and all!

Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated!

We are working directly with other organizations helping with the relief efforts. We are sorting and organizing donations here at The Bid Lodge, and as other pick up locations get low or run out of certain supplies, we are delivering the items where they are needed.

Tomorrow starting at 9:00 AM, we will be accepting donations at The Bid Lodge and continuing to get needed items directly to those affected by the flooding.

We have been in contact with several individuals and families and are working to get items where they are needed most. Even if its not listed it's still needed!

Some of the specific needs right now include:

• Baby formula
• Different types of phone/device chargers
• Trash bags
• New pillows
• New sheet sets
• New blankets
• New towels & washcloths
• Cleaning supplies

We will also be delivering items tomorrow to those who are in need.

We are continuing to accept donations for those affected by the recent flooding.

We are continuing to serve as a drop-off point for donations for those affected by the recent flooding.

We are working directly with the county, and they will be helping make sure the donated items get where they are needed most.

We are here today, Wednesday, August 12, from 1:30–4:30 PM and will be back starting at 9:00 AM on Thursday, August 13. For a late night drop off please contact us directly.

When you pull into The Bid Lodge, please pull around to the left side of the building to the lower-level double doors.

Just a quick picture, but THANK YOU! We have had several more items dropped off since this was taken, and we are so incredibly thankful for everyone who has donated, reached out, shared our posts, or offered to help. We have been in contact with people in the affected areas and will continue collecting and organizing donations so we can get items where they are needed, as they are needed.

Tomorrow our hours will be a little hit or miss as people are able to stop in and help, but my goal is to have the doors open from 1:30–3:00 PM. If no one is there when you arrive, you are still more than welcome to drop off donations. When you pull in, go to the left side of the building where you will see the double doors. There will be a picnic table there for donations, and we will bring everything inside promptly as we come and go throughout the day.

If you have been directly affected by the flooding, please reach out to us privately and let us know exactly what you need. We have several people asking about specific needs and ways they can help, and we may already have some of the items you are looking for. Please don’t hesitate to message us our goal is to get these donations directly into the hands of the people who need them.
