What in the world did Brian build now?
If you’ve been following The Enchanted Nest, you already know I don’t build things just because they look nice. Every path, every tree, every structure, and every handcrafted piece has a story to tell.
Our newest addition is The Gathering Circle.
At its center stands a handcrafted Celtic Cross, representing Christ—the foundation of hope, love, grace, and every lasting covenant.
Surrounding the cross are five inverted tree stumps, each representing one of God’s gifts found throughout His creation:
• Earth – Strength, stability, and the foundation on which a marriage is built.
• Air – The breath of life, communication, and wisdom.
• Fire – Passion, courage, and the refining of love through life’s seasons.
• Water – Cleansing, renewal, and new beginnings.
• Spirit – Faith, hope, and God’s presence that carries us through every chapter of life.
Together they remind us that while creation surrounds us, Christ remains at the center of it all.
This isn’t just another photo opportunity.
It’s a place to pause…
To pray…
To reflect…
To remember why two people stand together in the first place.
The Enchanted Nest has never been about building another wedding venue. My dream has always been to create a place where every path leads to another story, every structure has meaning, and every guest feels like they’ve stepped into a living storybook.
And while many of you have been watching this journey, something else has quietly taken shape in the woods…
The foundation is complete.
What looks like a simple wooden platform today will soon become the Ruins of the Grand Hall—an ancient woodland gathering place where towering standing logs, handcrafted walls, rustic details, and the forest itself come together to create something unlike anything you’ve seen before.
For now… I’ll just leave you with a little glimpse.
The story of The Enchanted Nest is still being written… one handcrafted piece at a time.
