One of the questions I get asked all the time is, “How are you managing two studios?”
The answer is simple: these girls. 💖
I never actually put out a job posting when I started thinking about hiring for New Kent, I wanted to naturally find the right fit for my first hire. I mean it was a really BIG step! Then Reagan came along. She was attending her niece’s birthday party in January and her mom mentioned that she was looking for a job. Watching her interact with the kids that day, I knew immediately she was exactly the kind of person I wanted on our team!
From there, everything happened naturally. Miss Jordan introduced me to Sydney, Reagan told me about Kaleigh, and Kaleigh told me about Peyton, our most recent hire (who had her first shift yesterday at our Richmond studio and she was GREAT!)
🩷And honestly, that’s exactly how I hoped it would happen🩷
These girls are the reason I can be in Richmond hosting a princess party while a birthday celebration is wrapping up in New Kent. They’re helping welcome families, assisting with activities, cleaning up after events and handling all of the little things that allow me to be in two places at once!
One day I’ll hire studio assistants in Richmond and maybe one day I’ll even find the right hosts who can be me when I can’t be. But right now, I’m really enjoying this little team we’ve built and I’m so grateful I get to be part of their first job experiences!
So if you’ve wondered how I’m juggling both studios these days, it’s because of Reagan, Sydney, Kaleigh and Peyton. ✨
