Sophie, Addi, and Lia shined onstage and represented our program with so much talent and professionalism. We’re grateful for the support and encouragement from Strickland and Dr. Nichols, who helped make this moment possible!

NKHS Trojan Theatre was crowned Class 3 runner-up at the VHSL state competition yesterday. Two of our actresses Lia Maltese and Sophie Ward received best actor awards with our third actress in the production, Addi Hofstede, receiving a best actor award nomination.

We were challenged and moved by this play Live to Tell written by Eric Coble. We are so grateful for the support we received from Heidi, the Director of Latisha’s House in Virginia. We felt the importance of sharing the voices of these women whose stories are mostly silenced.

Our Theatre Department has been so inspired by the work of Latisha's House on Behalf of the Victims of Human Trafficking. We are taking up Christmas gift donations for the ladies there. If you would like to be a part of making this holiday merry and bright, please consider sending in a special gift.

Latisha’s House Foundation provides survivors with safe housing and services that enable them to be free. Free from exploitation! Free from abuse! Free to make their own choices! Free to realize their dreams! Free forever!
