Nichole stopped by to pick up a World Championship Gumbo Cookoff basket of goodies for United Way of Acadiana’s upcoming Storybook Soirée fundraiser.

This event brings our community together to support local children and families through literacy initiatives, family advocacy, and programs that help create brighter futures across Acadiana.

We love seeing our Chamber members making a difference and are grateful for opportunities to support the incredible work they do throughout our community.

This one is for our Gumbo CookOff decorators and crafters...the 36th Annual Booth Decorating Theme is...Vive La Gumbo! Long Live Gumbo and all of the joy it brings! There is no such thing as too over the top so dust off those boxes of decor, save some bits and pieces from your July 4th decor, or buy out your local craft store! We love seeing it and so do our tens of thousands of attendees. Whether you want to go all out or you are just going to zhuzh up the space where you cook, we can't wait to see what you create!
