Good Evening bowlers,
It is with great sadness that I announce the closure of Cajun Bowl, effective following the end of summer leagues (August 30, 2023). Carmen and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your support in Cajun’s 5 year tenure. The last 9 months have been especially brutal, with our staffing being down to only 5 employees, with 1 of them only doing our league bookkeeping. We have been down to 1/3rd of our manpower, unable to open the doors to the public yet as a result. Ultimately, it has finally caught up to us.
Personally, I would like to thank a few people that have been a huge help over the past 5 years. Thank you to Butch and Sabrina. You guys are awesome! I couldn’t have ran tournaments, or hosted any big events without you guys, along with a bunch of other things that you both know. Thank you to my coworkers, Leisa, Bonnie, April, and Stacey. You ladies went through some really rough months to continue to help keep this place open. It has not been an easy road to work with such a small amount of people on staff. I cannot thank you all enough for your help. Carmen, thank you so much for the opportunity to work, build and grow with Cajun Bowl. This was an awesome adventure for me. Thank you for practically being a second family to me for all of these years.
And most of all, Bowlers, thank you for supporting our center! It has been an honor and a pleasure to manage the center, be your pro shop, and run tournaments for you all! Let’s not forget mechanic too haha.
