The Nartan Rang Dance Academy has been running successfully in New York for over twenty five years. The dance school is run by an extremely passionate, talented, and dedicated woman, choreographer Swati Vaishnav. Swati herself began dancing at the tender age of 8 and developed such a deep & inherent connection to the artform that she felt she should pass on her passion to the next generation, incl

uding her children. The Nartan Rang Dance Academy is currently comprised of over 100 students ranging in age from 6 to 60 & is still growing exponentially. Over the years, Nartan Rang has not only been associated with dancing, but it has also become synonymous with friendship, culture, growth, & unity for its students. The school offers an environment in which children born & raised in the United States are exposed to a gateway to cultivate their knowledge of the Indian heritage & culture, specifically in the medium of dance. Nartan Rang Dance Academy has the added magic of luring its graduated students back to its doors & its teacher even years later. Currently, the school's adult group has students-turned-mothers who had initially started as juniors at the academy and returned because they missed their outlet. The academy also serves as a platform for forging strong bonds & relationships amongst its students, which comes across in their performances as well. All of the commendable qualities of the institution, simply put, add up to one thing: An unforgettable lifetime experience full of memories, friendship, & most importantly, dance. Summer is the best time to enjoy the outdoors and explore the world..BUT FOR PASSIONATE DANCE STUDENTS, IT’S ALSO DIFFICULT TO MISS OUR DANCE CLASS ROUTINE AT NARTAN RANG DANCE ACADEMY!

Nartan Rang is a dance academy which provides a secure, loving, & caring environment, all while instilling confidence & camaraderie in our students.

Due to an overwhelming response, we are adding one more session each for ages 7-9 & ages 10-12 on Saturdays at our New Hyde Park location.
Hicksville has opening for the age
6-8 and 12-15yrs

Regular classes begin Monday, September 8th, 2025 at our Hicksville location & Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at our New Hyde Park location.

To our Nartan Rang family & friends, we will be posting pictures & videos from the show soon, & are so grateful to everyone that attended another wonderful annual production of Nritya Ranjani.

Before that, however, we would like to share the following GoFundMe with permission from the Parikh family. One of our students & her family suffered a sudden & tragic loss just this past week. Due to an unforeseen medical complication & the heartbreak that followed, our 7 year old student was unable to perform at the show with her friends - something she was so excited about - and now is living with the sadness & grief of losing her other half, her younger sister.

The Parikh Family made the selfless, tough, heart wrenching decision of donating their angel’s organs to others in need - a move that will allow other people to live on, as well as their daughter’s spirit. We watched, heartbroken for them, on Zoom as they did a Walk of Honor/Hero’s Walk from the PICU to the OR to allow their daughter Arya to give the gift of life. Anything you can do to help the family, either by sharing or donating, would be so appreciated. And if none of the above, please just keep them all in your hearts as they navigate this unfair & painful journey. 🤍👼🏼🩷
