The traditional reenactment of George Washington crossing the Delaware River is still on for Christmas Day, but this Sunday's scheduled dress rehearsal has been canceled.

One year ago. ..

It is with great regret that we relay the passing of Bob Gerenser earlier today, according to those close to him. Heir to the famous Gerenser Exotic Ice Cream shop, Bob was a former borough council member, president of the Independent Merchants Association, historical reenactor, karaoke artist, and well-known New Hope personality. We will pass along condolence and funeral information as it becomes available. A sad day for New Hope.
