We are excited to announce that Meredith and Lysion Vieira will be stepping into the roles of Artistic Directors for Ornate Dance Theatre.

As we begin this new season, we do so with humility and a deep desire to serve. We feel incredibly honored to invest in this community and in the dancers the Lord has entrusted to us. Our prayer is that Ornate will continue to be a place where artistry, excellence, discipleship, and worship flourish together, and where each person is encouraged to grow not only as an artist, but as a follower of Christ.

As we look ahead with expectation, we also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Julie Wendler for her years of faithful leadership, vision, and investment in Ornate Dance Theatre. Julie has poured so much into this ministry and into the lives of so many dancers, and we are deeply thankful for the foundation she has built.

Thank you, Julie, for your faithfulness, your leadership, and your unwavering heart to serve. It is an honor to continue building on what the Lord has done through you, and we are excited to see all He has in store for this next chapter.

Even in the reaching, He is already near.

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

Faith is not grasping for a distant God, but awakening to the One who has already drawn close. What feels like searching is often just the realization of being found.

Before your steps are steady, His presence is certain. Before your strength returns, His hands are already holding you.

Freedom is more than a celebration. It’s an invitation to live with purpose.

Today, we’re grateful for the freedom to create, to worship, to tell stories that point to truth, and to use the gift of dance for God’s glory.

As we celebrate this Fourth of July, may we never lose sight of the greatest freedom we have in Christ, a freedom that transforms hearts and calls us to bring light wherever we go.

How often do we see people through our assumptions instead of through the heart of God?

Construct reflects on how self-righteousness and a faith reduced to rules can cloud our vision, while surrender to Christ opens our eyes. As the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwell within us, He transforms the way we see, love, and pursue others. God’s heart has always been restoration, not condemnation.

“From now on, we regard no one according to the flesh.”

May God remove every veil from our eyes so we may see one another with the grace, truth, and compassion of Christ.

New Wind

Inspired by Ezekiel 37, New Wind is a reminder that God still breathes life into what feels dry and hopeless. The same breath that raised an army from a valley of dry bones is still bringing restoration, renewal, and hope today.

No matter what season you’re walking through, remember: God is not finished. His Spirit is still moving, His promises still stand, and His breath still brings new life.
