Elm City Dance Collective ECDC is a non-profit contemporary dance organization dedicated to serving New Haven through dance. We perform. We make. We teach. We produce. We collaborate.

We dance! Since 2008, Elm City Dance Collective has been providing dance experiences for New Haven and beyond. ECDC, the performing company, has been presented throughout the Northeast by organizations such as the International Festival of Arts and Ideas (New Haven); Creative Alliance (Baltimore); Frazier Festival (Providence); Charter Oak (Hartford); and Exact Change (New Haven) among others. ECD

C has also been commissioned by Artspace New Haven, DOT AIR: Experimental Musical Festival, Pawtucket; Roger Williams University and Rhode Island College. Elm City Dance Collective offers weekly Open Improvisation Jams on Tuesdays 4:30-6pm | 319 Peck Street. Erector Square. Building 2. Annie Sailer Studio.

Come see us! Saturday, April 20th is the National Water Dance. Long Wharf Park. Come at 2:30pm for a park clean up. ECDC will perform at 4pm along with artists across the nation. Simultaneous dances being performed across the nation creates a movement choir. This movement choir brings attention to climate change and critical water issues. ECDC asks, what if water became dangerously scarce? If humans are mostly water, is the water inside of us ours? How many times did you visit the tap today? When did you last worry about water?
