Ever wonder how a caned seat gets rewoven? It’s all done by hand, strand by strand. Our artists learn various forms of chair caning and seat weaving and advance at their own pace, restoring chairs for community members with support from our trained staff. Every repair supports art-based employment for artists with disabilities.
