Great news for our local soccer community! 🎉 Let’s give a big shout-out to Matt Turner — an incredible alumnus of Fairfield University’s men’s soccer program, now being inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2026! 🧤⚽️

From dominating the net at Lessing Field (setting the program’s all-time best goals-against average 0.77, and a single-season record 13 shutouts!) to earning over 50 caps for the U.S. Men’s National Team and playing in the English Premier League — Matt’s journey is the kind of story our community can be proud of.

Here’s to Matt 👌🏼 — a Fairfield County native (and local hero) who shows what’s possible when talent meets drive.

👍 If you’re as proud as we are, drop a “👏” and tag a friend who remembers his glory days at Fairfield!

Hey AO New Haven fam!

Don’t forget this Saturday, September 6th, we kick off our first watch party of the season. We are taking over Trinity Bar and Restaurant to cheer on the US Men’s Nat’l Team vs Korea. ⚽️🇺🇸

Game starts at 5pm, but come early and enjoy a drink/food. First 15 AO members to walk through the door get a compingntary beer!

Meet the new AONH board and have some fun. Everyone will be entered into a raffle for two tickets for October’s US Women’s Nat’l Game against Portugal, in Hartford!!
