Long Wharf Theatre

Long Wharf Theatre Tony award-winning company based in New Haven, CT. We believe in a theatre of possibility. Today, Long Wharf Theatre is led by Artistic Director Jacob G.
(296)

Established in 1965 at the start of the regional theatre movement, Long Wharf Theatre was born on the notion that New Haven deserves an active culture that is locally created. Our founders shared the dream of starting a professional theatre company in Connecticut, built with the aid of community leaders and patrons of the arts. Now in our 57th season, we annually engage 30,000 people through produ

ctions, arts education programs, and community partnerships. Padrón and Managing Director Kit Ingui in partnership with a dedicated staff and Board of Directors. We aspire to be a company with, by, and for our community, activating a lifelong conversation with every person who walks through our doors as we use the stories on our stage to catalyze a movement to better our world.

👏 A hearty congrats to Tony-Nominee Bryce Pinkham!

Bryce has been nominated for his work in the Broadway sensation CHESS for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical and we couldn't be prouder or more excited.

We are proud to have been developing Bryce's solo musical FATHERTIME: BIRTH, DEATH AND SONGS, which was presented by Long Wharf Theatre in 2022 (then titled DIGNITY, ALWAYS DIGNITY) and last summer at Hudson Valley Shakespeare.

We look forward to the continued heart and excellent work this artist brings to his projects.
