Last year, one of my Studio clients brought in this same model of microphone, and we used it for a large part of our weeklong lockout session. I was re-listening to those mixes over the last couple of months and that microphone sounded so great on those recordings that I decided to pop on one and get one for myself.. those of you who care about nerdy microphone stuff this microphone is very transparent and does a really great job of capturing purity without overhyping in any frequency area. Any instrument you put in front of it sounds phenomenal and I think that many voices will be a perfect fit for this mic . I thought I’d miss a couple of microphones that I sold to make this purchase, but I don’t regret my choices.. If you know me you know that I patiently looked for months to find one at a price that wouldn’t break the bank 🙂 .This Vanguard V 13 In the mic locker is a blessing ! It’s got a gorgeous w**e red metal finish. It’s a real looker, but most importantly it sounds freaking awesome.
