That’s a wrap for Art Camp 2026! Students finished painting mountain landscapes, adding personal touches to their work. “Cat Tower” was added to a student’s sketch book. We concluded by creating tree of life necklaces with their original artwork, and had a little party with snacks and juice! This week students explored painting, collage making, bubble painting, drawing, art history fun facts, an art gallery “field trip” upstairs, a paint-along landscape, made book marks, and jewelry! Students all said they’d recommend it to a friend next year! ❤️🎨🖌️

We would like to thank Juror Karen Bartone for excellence yesterday and to all the participants of our second annual (destination) plein air paint out this year at Mystic Seaport Museum

It was a wonderful day, weather held out. Thank you to the seaport for hosting us, and providing us with such a wonderful opportunity to paint!

The New Hartford Artisans Guild had a great day painting at Mystic Seaport Museum yesterday, Sunday August 2nd, 2026 | congratulations to the winners, juried by Karen Bartone : Catherine M Elliott Jessica McGarry Bartlet and Hannah Goodman | it was a wonderful day with 20+ painters, these photos capture their finished works!
