Introducing ‘Be: Held: Contemporary Analog Art with artists Johanna Aenderl, Jenny Zoey Casey and Rachel Singel’ at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art. This latest group exhibit will have an opening reception tomorrow, Saturday, September 12 from 3-5 p.m. with artist Rachel Singel and exhibit as well as gallery curator Audra Verona Lambert present discussing artworks on display and light refreshments provided. On view September 12 - October 31, 2026, enjoy this contemporary analog art exhibit and learn more about handmade arts in the region and across the United States. This show features handmade artworks spanning fiber art, mixed media sculpture and works on paper shaped by artists with links to Minnesota, Illinois and Kentucky. Emphasizing the labor-intensive nature of contemporary handmade artworks, artists on view in Be, Held sustain practices frequently in dialogue with traditional American pioneer vernacular and folk styles.
