The newborn stage consists of running on very little sleep, wondering what day it is, and constantly answering demands for food.

But before you know it, they’re bigger.
Aaand you’re still running on very little sleep, wondering what day it is, and constantly answering demands for food 🙃
So if you’re waiting until life feels less chaotic... I have bad news 😬
But if you’ve been thinking about booking a newborn session and keep putting it off because, well, life…consider flipping through some of these pictures as your sign.

One of my favorite parts of photographing families is finding simple ways to bring out genuine connection and joy.

For this session, I asked my own dad (who else) if he could make a couple of paper airplanes for these cuties just for fun. When I arrived to pick them up, he handed me a brown paper bag packed full of hand-folded airplanes- classic ones, trick ones, and designs I didn’t even know existed.

The evening unfolded exactly as you’d hope- wrestling with dad, picking flowers for mom, and endless excitement as airplanes soared, looped, crashed, and landed far across the field.

Every smile, every laugh, every burst of excitement you see here was real. These are the moments I love capturing. And let’s be honest, doesn’t this look like fun? 😉
