DIRECTIONS
TO NEW FREEDOM LIONS CLUB’S CARNIVAL
FROM YORK, PA
If you are coming South on Interstate 83:
1. Take Shrewsbury Exit 4
2. Turn right at bottom of the ramp towards Shrewsbury.
3. At the third traffic light get into the left lane and turn Left (this is Main St. Shrewsbury)
4. Continue about 1 mile crossing railroad track unti
l you come to a traffic light (this is N. Constitution Ave.) Turn right.
5. Continue on this road until you come to a stop sign (this is Main St., New Freedom)
6. Turn Right, the carnival will be on your left behind the bank. Street parking is available on several side streets. FROM BALTIMORE, MD
1. Take Interstate 83 North until you reach Exit 4 Shrewsbury.
2. At bottom of ramp, turn left towards Shrewsbury.
3. Follow the above directions from #3 on. FROM HANOVER, PA
1. Take Route 216 going through Codorus State Park.
2. After you pass Glenville and come to a 4-way stop sign at Sticks, Turn Right on Route 851.
3. You will see a sign on the left that says New Freedom 8 miles, it’s a long winding road.
4. As you enter New Freedom the road curves to the Right and you are on W Main St. The Carnival will be on your right behind the bank
FROM CARROLL COUNTY, MD
1. Route 30 (Reisterstown Rd. or Hanover Pike)
2. Turn Right on Route 86, go through Lineboro, MD into PA. When the road dead ends, turn right on Route 851.
3. Follow remaining directions from Hanover from #3 on. No Alcoholic beverages or pets permitted on the grounds.
