1 shift/player up to a max of 2.
Example:
1 player = 1 shift required
2 players = 2 shifts required
3+players = 2 shifts required

Please make sure you sign in at the time of your shift or you will not be given credit for the shift.

If the games are canceled for any reason on the day you are scheduled to work, you are responsible for signing up for a different shift.

Pay attention to times and location of shift compared to your childs game schedule so that you are not working during your child's game and/or you are not at one location while your child is playing at another.

If your coach has not posted your teams schedule, they will be doing so very soon.

Parents and Coaches,
I wanted to take a quick minute and comment on the practice schedules and field conditions for this week.
All coaches should have reached out to you by now and shared their practice schedule. Typically, they'll use the GameChanger App or a group text thread. The in-house and travel game schedules are not completed yet, but the first weekend of games is Sept 12-13.

As far as field conditions go... we have received more than 7" of rain through the first 17 days of this month. Park management, municipalities and our contractors are doing their best to keep up with it. As you can imagine, they are behind schedule on most properties and RAYSA is not always on the top of their priority list. We know the grass is high. Our goal as a league is to give our players safe, playable field conditions, but we are at the mercy of some of these organizations. To answer your follow up question, no you cannot take your personal tractor to Palmer and start cutting....

I want to share their grass cutting schedules they try to adhere to, but this is all weather permitting.
Palmer Park- Donora City Maintenance- Every Tuesday morning
Vine St- Private contractor- Every Monday, and now twice per week to keep up
St. Andrews- Private contractor- every Thursday
New Eagle- Ringgold SD contractor- TBD (no answer from emails)
Union/Finley- UF TWP- not sure

We are continuing to work with them to make sure our fields are properly maintained. We have a request in to Palmer to do more than once per week, especially leading up to the season, however, it is very swampy there as of today. Our board members are constantly checking on the fields to make sure they are safe for the kids.
Email [email protected] with any questions.

Best,
Bryan
President RAYSA

Big shout out and thank you to Coach Rosensteel and the Lady Rams for putting on a training session for our girls this evening!
It’s wonderful to see the girls who came through the RAYSA program sharing their skills and time with kids who will one day play on the same field as them!

Make sure you check out the varsity girls schedule and cheer them on this season!

Hey everyone!
We have a great opportunity for a FREE training session next Thursday the 13th from 6:30-8 at Palmer Park for all of the GIRLS in our league hosted by Coach Ed Rosensteel and the varsity Lady Rams team!!
This is open for all girls from U6-U12 in house and travel. We will also be drawing the lucky winner for the VIP WVU Experience during the session. Reminder this is for girls U10 and above, in house and travel. You do not have to be present to win.

On a personal note, I think it’s amazing our head coaches at the high school are willing to be so involved in our youth program here at Ringgold. A big thanks to coach Dave Molisee for the camp last week. The kids had a blast and your boys were awesome coaches!!!

See you all on the pitch!! ⚽️

REMINDER--- PARENTS MEETING WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 6:30pm RHS, JOE MONTANA STADIUM

We will be voting on multiple, parent-elected board positions, as well as going over common practices such as the ghost check policy, Fall season schedule and other important updates regarding coaches, field locations, financials, and special events for the kids. Please make every effort to be there. The more involved and informed our parents are, the better the league can be for the kids.
Also, don't forget tomorrow (Tuesday) starts the skills camp put on by the Ringgold Mens Soccer team!

Looking forward to seeing you all there and thanks in advance!
