KA-CHOW!

Disney & Pixar’s Cars is racing back into theaters this Labor Day Weekend to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and you can catch it on the big screen at the West Shore Theatre!

It’s been 20 years since Lightning McQueen took an unexpected detour into Radiator Springs and learned that sometimes the journey is more important than the finish line. Now, a whole new generation can experience the adventure on the big screen — while those of us who remember seeing it in 2006 can try not to think too hard about the fact that it’s already been TWO DECADES.

Cars: 20th Anniversary Labor Day Weekend Showtimes:
G - 1h 57m
Thursday, September 3 at 7 PM
Friday, September 4 at 7 PM
Saturday, September 5 at 1, 4, 7 PM
Sunday, September 6 at 1, 4 PM
Monday, September 7 at 1, 4 PM

Grab the family, hit Route 66, and race on over to the West Shore Theatre for a nostalgic trip back to Radiator Springs. Get your tickets in advance at https://www.westshoretheatre.org/tickets/ or at the door. Life is a highway, and this weekend it leads to the West Shore Theatre!

We are absolutely THRILLED to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton on Sunday, September 27 as we welcome Karen as Dolly: Dolly Parton Tribute to the West Shore Theatre! We can't overstate just how excited we are to bring an entertainer of Karen Hester's caliber to you right here in New Cumberland, PA!

Karen was crowned the "Best Tribute Artist in America" as a first-place winner on Jimmy Fallon's Clash of the Cover Bands and has built an incredible career celebrating the music and legacy of Dolly Parton. She has opened for country stars Trace Adkins and Ricky Van Shelton, appeared on AXS TV's World's Greatest Tribute Bands, and currently performs with Legends Live in both Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach.

Her solo show has taken her around the world, with performances in Sweden, Finland and Australia, as well as aboard the Country Music Cruise — and on September 27, she's bringing it to New Cumberland, Pennsylvania!

With just 200 seats in the West Shore Theatre, this is a rare opportunity to experience an internationally touring tribute artist in an incredibly intimate setting. Karen recreates the look, sound, humor and unmistakable spirit of one of the most successful and beloved entertainers in American music history — and there truly isn't a bad seat in the house.

This Halloween, our annual Rocky Horror tradition will feel a little more meaningful. We’ll be raising a glass — and perhaps doing a Time Warp or two — in memory of the incomparable Tim Curry, whose unforgettable performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter helped turn The Rocky Horror Picture Show into the cultural phenomenon and beloved audience tradition it remains 51 years later.

There may never be another Frank quite like him, but what better way to celebrate his legacy than together, in a theatre full of fans singing, laughing, shouting, and doing the Time Warp again.

You've got 4 chances again this year to catch this interactive audience favorite at the West Shore Theatre: Friday, October 30 at 7 and 10 PM and Saturday, October 31 at 7 and 10 PM.

Come in costume if you'd like and enjoy the movie and a variety of alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, cider, seltzer, canned cocktails, and themed slushies and support your local independent New Cumberland theatre!

We recommend getting your seats in advance at https://www.westshoretheatre.org/tickets/ (all seating is reserved), as these showings usually sell out! Prop bags will be available for $5 - no outside props are permitted, and as always, no outside food or beverages are allowed.

It's just a jump to https://www.westshoretheatre.org/ then a step to the TICKETS page to grab your seats now!

August is winding down, but we're ending it with four great concerts in a variety of genres!

The PA All-Star Jazz Septet
Tuesday, August 25 at 7 PM
Celebrate Pennsylvania’s extraordinary contribution to American jazz with an evening of live music, storytelling, and state pride featuring the Keystone Jazz Septet. Led by drummer Marko Marcinko of Scranton, the ensemble brings together an exceptional roster of Pennsylvania jazz artists.

Rivers with Tanner Bingaman’s Pretty Big Garden
Friday, August 28 at 7 PM
Born out of the simple idea to be able to play anywhere at anytime gave rise to central Pennsylvania’s alt-folk group Rivers. Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with just simple acoustic instruments, the power duo amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. Made up of Joe Schaefer on upright bass and Vincent Yarnell on acoustic guitar and banjo, they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers’ style is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for more. Now this folk slaps. The concert will feature support by Tanner Bingaman’s Pretty Big Garden.

The Fabulous Hubcaps Sponsored by Kelly Financial Services

Saturday, August 29 at 7 PM
West Shore Theatre favorites The Fabulous Hubcaps return for another concert to help wind down the summer season! In a typical Hubcaps show, you not only hear the best of the “Classics” but you see many of your favorite artists dressed in costume delivering to you a dynamic show, the best on tour.
