Perry County Council of the Arts - 12th Annual Juried Exhibition - CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Perry County Council of the Arts is now accepting submissions from Pennsylvania artists for its 12th Annual Juried Exhibition, on view September 22 through November 12, 2026, at the historic Landis House in Newport, PA. Cash awards totaling $2,000 will be presented, and accepted 2D works will be exhibited at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in December 2026. Artists may submit up to three original works by July 25. We are excited to invite you to our home for a Soirée to benefit the Art Association of Harrisburg. It is a partnership that I believe in… This soiree series helps fund AAH’s Exhibition and Educational programs.

You may recognize these five amazing artists because The Smith Gallery also represents them. They will be displaying their work around our pool and on our decks and are going to be on location to talk about their work. Of course, proceeds from the sale of their work will benefit the Art Association.

We will also be showcasing a quartet of college-age jazz musicians who will be accompanying this wonderful and lively event.

You will also be able to tour our home to see the artists that we have collected. We believe that art does speak to us and, we continue that conversation with the artwork every day…

My partner, Rick, and I will be preparing a menu fit for a soirée with lovely wine to pair with the epicurean delights!

So happy to be part of this amazing gala celebrating 100 years for Theatre Harrisburg “where community takes center stage!”

We are also partnering with the Art Association of Harrisburg who is ALSO celebrating 100 years of showcasing wonderful artists and providing a wonderful school for teaching art.

We will be framing the work created en Plein air by artists Jonathan Frazier, Susan Benigni Landis, Richard Michaelian, Julie Riker and Linda Williard.

Great collaborations…come and celebrate with us!
