Tomorrow (5/15) you will see some volunteers at a couple of intersections in the village taking donations for the "Fill the Basket" campaign to raise money for the fireworks for the American 250 celebration on July 11.

Celebrate New Concord has altered our regular schedule to support this meaningful village celebration by presenting a patriotic concert by the Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds at 8 p.m. on the 11th, right before the fireworks.

The America 250 planning committee is soliciting support from the entire community for this grand celebration. We encourage you to donate to the baskets tomorrow (there is another one in June) or to donate through the QR code on the attached flyer.

For over 20 years, Celebrate New Concord has brought our community together through FREE summer performances in Village Park....featuring music, theater, education, and more.

Since 2001, we’ve welcomed over 17,000 attendees and built a tradition that’s supported completely by donations. Every dollar goes directly to our concert series...helping us bring in new and exciting artists and keeping admission FREE for everyone.

Announcing our 2026 Summer Entertainment Series! We are a little under two months away from our first concert, and we have a great lineup this year! Today we will start a weekly teaser that will feature one of our upcoming artists, starting with Jake "Barefoot McCoy," who will open our concert series on June 9. As many of you know, American Idol premieres tonight and I had the the opportunity to audition in front of the judges alongside so many incredibly talented artists.

There’s been a bit of confusion, so I wanted to clarify: with over 100 contestants auditioning, I’m not certain which episode my audition will air in or if it will, that is out of my control. While many have been saying it will be tonight, the audition process spans multiple episodes. ❤️

We are beyond excited to share John Glenn High School alum, Haley Bundy, is one of our artists for the 2026 Celebrate New Concord Summer Concert Series. Haley has auditioned to become a contestant on American Idol, and with the new season starting on Monday, 1/26, you might catch a glimpse of her audition on that or subsequent episodes. She is now working in Nashville and her latest single "end to begin" comes out on the 30th! Best of luck to you Haley!
