🪦 They buried him with his horse, weapons, and pure gold — and no one touched it for 2,200 years.
Archaeologists in Bulgaria just opened an untouched Thracian warrior’s tomb that feels straight out of a legend.
Inside: a powerful noble (35–40 years old) wearing a stunning gilded silver wreath, laid to rest beside his war horse. The horse’s ornaments alone are breathtaking — featuring Hercules wrestling a giant in incredible detail.
Gold-adorned sword, spears, shield, jewelry… this is being called one of the richest Hellenistic Thracian burials ever discovered in Bulgaria.
A perfectly preserved window into the world of ancient warriors and their beliefs about the afterlife.
