Join us these next two weeks for comedy in Aspen and Glenwood Springs! Next Thursday, we are at Hidalgo Aspen for our last comedy show of the summer at that venue. Their cocktails are the best in the valley.

Then the week after we’ll be having our 4th rendition of barrel room belly laughs at the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co. . Food and drinks available from a private brewpub server for that night!

Wow. What a way to close out the summer comedy series in New Castle! 🔥

I think we can speak for New Castle when we say Matt Cobos is welcome back to our neck of the woods anytime he wants! We don’t think a single person left that room disappointed. 😂

A HUGE thank you to Downvalleybrewing for continuing to give us a place to bring live comedy to the Roaring Fork Valley and for being such an incredible home for DVT Comedy. We genuinely couldn’t do this without your amazing staff and all the support you’ve given us.

Thank you to Miller Ford for being an exceptional host (but still can’t pose for a group picture to save his life 😂), and to local Aspen legend Don Chaney, who is quite literally your favorite comic’s favorite comic. Having people in the room who genuinely want to see comedians succeed makes all the difference.

And selfishly, I’m pretty damn proud of what we’ve been building with DVT. There’s been a lot of work behind the scenes to get these shows where they are, and seeing people pack these rooms, laugh their asses off, and leave smiling makes every bit of it worth it.

2026 has been one hell of a year for comedy so far, and we’re taking a well-deserved break from New Castle shows. But seriously—thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket, packed a room, laughed with us, shared a post, or brought a friend. Your support means more than you know.

We’ll still be bringing the laughs to Aspen, Glenwood Springs, and beyond over the next few months, so we’re definitely not going anywhere.

We only have a HANDFUL of tickets left for tonight’s comedy show at Down Valley Brewing in New Castle! This one is on track to SELL OUT, so grab your tickets before they’re gone.

Before the headliner takes the stage, you’ll get over 20 years of combined comedy experience from openers Don Chaney, Miller Ford, and Tate Jordan to get the room rolling.

Headlining the night is Matt Cobos from Denver, a comic known for his rapid-fire punchlines, infectious laugh, and nonstop energy. Matt has opened for Josh Blue, Frankie Quiñones, Melissa Villaseñor, and Sam Tallent, and is a regular at Comedy Works in Denver. If you enjoy his set tonight, be sure to catch him there the next time you’re in the city.

This Friday night Matt Cobos join us in New Castle for a one night only comedy event! Not only is he one of the most prominent regulars at the Comedy club in Denver, Comedy Works. But he has opened up for some pretty great comedians such as Sam Tallent, Josh Blue, Frankie Quiñones, Melissa Villaseñor, and more.

Matt has been on the High Plains Comedy Festival & Moontower Comedy Festival. His rapid, punchy style and kick-ass attitude quickly gets audiences ready for a good time.
