Dear Members of Senator Lindsey Graham's Staff,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham. We extend our prayers and deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

On behalf of the Green Slate Institute for Justice and the Save the Historic Post Office Coalition, I write to share a vision that we believe would serve as a meaningful tribute to Senator Graham's legacy of public service and his longstanding support for America's military and veterans.

Our organization is leading an effort to preserve the historic former post office building in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and transform it into a Veterans Media Center, Museum, Arts Center, and Community Resource Center. The facility would provide space for veterans' services, preserve military history, record the stories of those who served, and educate future generations about the sacrifices made by America's servicemen and women.

As part of this vision, we would like to explore the possibility of naming the restored building in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham, subject to the support of his family, the community, and all necessary approvals. We believe such a tribute would recognize his decades of public service and his commitment to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

Our hope is that this building will become a place where veterans receive assistance, where their stories are preserved through books, film, and oral histories, and where young people are inspired by examples of service, leadership, and patriotism.

We would be honored to share our proposal with you and, if appropriate, with Senator Graham's family for their consideration. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this vision further.

Preserving the Stories of Service Through Film, Books, and Digital Media

Program Overview

The New Castle Veterans, Museum, and Arts Center will establish a Veterans Media, Film, and Publishing Center dedicated to preserving, documenting, and sharing the stories of military veterans and their families.

The center will provide veterans, students, filmmakers, writers, historians, and community members with the tools and resources needed to record oral histories, write books, produce documentaries, create podcasts, and develop films that honor military service and preserve local history.

The mission of the center is simple:

"If we do not record these stories today, they may be lost forever."

Veterans Film Studio

A fully equipped digital production studio capable of producing:

• Public service announcements
