Congrats to our band!

Join us in congratulating Angelo Flores and Ryli Greer on their recent visual art achievements! Both students were part of a larger group of NP art students who entered their work into the Scholastics Art and Writing Awards, a highly competitive, national program. Both students received recognition at the regional level.

Angelo Flores was awarded a Silver Key for his Painting "An Overdose of M.E." His work will be displayed at the South Bend Museum of Art.

Ryli Greer received an Honorable Mention for her ceramic piece “2 Sides of the Reef.”

1 week from today is our Fine Arts showcase. Come see what our visual arts students have been up to in class. Hear some fun and festive music and watch some performances from our band and choir. There will be snacks, crafts, and be pictures with Santa.

Congratulations Miranda!

A few weeks ago, the Library proudly hosted the 2025 Noguchi Teen Art Competition Open House.

This year’s theme—“Noguchi’s American Story”—inspired an incredible 80 submissions from talented local high school students.

1st Place: “Climb to the Top” by Miranda, New Prairie High School
2nd Place: “Freedom” (3D entry) by Abrielle D., Westville High School
3rd Place: “Self Portrait B+W” by Klarissa, La Porte High School

We’re so proud of these young artists and grateful to every student who shared their creativity with us.
