Growing up in an artistic family I have always been drawn to creative pursuits. In 2009, I founded the widely followed design blog, The Zhush, while raising my three children. After ten years of writing about design, I decided to return to my roots and start painting again. I find my inspiration in various aspects of life, from nature, ancient myths and the human body, to spiritual matters and med

itation. Truthfulness and sincerity are very important to me and go hand and hand with my color choices. My paintings start with a particular idea and the process itself takes over leading me in mysterious ways to unknown destinations. White and neutral tones inspire with their openness, transparency, fragility and gracefulness.
