I honestly don't even know how to put this into words...
The Cottage Core Army has officially been accepted into ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Michigan! 🌿✨
This fall, for 18 days, these three girls will be on display as part of ArtPrize, the nation's largest art competition.

When I first imagined this series, I wanted to create the kind of fierce, strong representation little girls so desperately need—girls who are brave, capable, imaginative, and the heroes of their own stories! I never imagined they would carry me somewhere like this.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around it and am beyond grateful to every person who has encouraged me, shared my work, purchased a piece, or simply reminded me to keep creating. Every bit of support has helped carry me to moments like this.

During PTSD Awareness Month, Inner Voice Psychotherapy and Consultation featured my healing journey in their June newsletter. As someone whose path to healing has been deeply intertwined with art, it means so much to have that story shared in a space dedicated to mental health and trauma recovery.
What began as a way to process my own experiences has grown into something I never could have imagined. These past few months have been filled with unexpected opportunities, meaningful conversations, and an outpouring of support and kindness. I'm grateful for every person who has connected with my work, shared a story of their own, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines. Every connection is a reminder that healing is not a solitary journey.
